About the style 4 Big Ben
The style 4 was the second of the Big Ben/Baby
Ben series
to be designed by industrial design pioneer
Henry Dreyfus.
The style was made from 1934 until
1939.

Features:
This is a wonderful example of the style 4 Big Ben
Loud Alarm that was made in
the Westclox facility in LaSalle, Illinois. It
has a loud ticking sound and a repeating loud alarm. The movement is
the same design used in the earlier style 1a Big Ben. |

5 1/4" tall and 4 7/8" wide at
the base. |

Condition:
The movement has been serviced and it runs and alarms as it
should.
The original dial is VERY GOOD,
with a slight stain at 2:00. The
nickel plating is VERY GOOD. The original paint is
99% intact, but has a nice patina to celebrate it's 83
years. |
